Cooperation among people

The contacts between peoples are an important factor in creating confidence and promote greater understanding among citizens of both countries. Today, there are at least 76 people living in Mexico. Most Thai people in Mexico are part of the restaurant industry and partly the housewives are married to foreigners working for international companies with subsidiaries in Mexico. There is also a small group of 12 Thai people who are married / married to Mexican / Mexican and have adopted Mexico as his second home.

Thai restaurants can be found in several cities inMexicosuch as Cancun, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Veracruz, etc. Most of these restaurants are owned by Mexicans who have a particular interest and have become enamored of Thai cuisine. Today in Mexico City there are three Thai restaurants: The Restaurant Bangkok, the traditional restaurant with more years of service, Thai Gardens Restaurant which is a branch of a famous Thai restaurant established in Spain and recently opened Sukho thai Restaurant in 2005.DSC07736-1024x679

At the same time, there are 80 Mexicans living inThailand. Currently there are four Mexican restaurants in Bangkok are: Charley Brown’s Mexican Restaurant, Señor Pico Bar and Restaurant, La Fiesta and Henry J. Bean’s Bar and Grill / Grill, which are very popular among Thais. Another part of Mexican culture that has been well accepted is the Mexican beerCorona.

In addition, Thailand and Mexico are participating in the American Field Service Program / American Field Service Program. As a result, in the last 10 years there have been several exchanges of students between the two countries. At least 39 Thai students have come to study and stay with Mexican families in different states of Mexico from the State of Mexico, Queretaro, Morelos, Guerrero, Puebla, Oaxaca, Campeche, Tabasco and Chiapas. These exchange students bring Thai culture and traditions of Thailand to share with the Mexican family where they live and at the same time gives them the opportunity to meet and learn about the culture and traditions of Mexico. This is a great way to forge lasting feelings between the peoples of both countries.
