Highlights of the seven-day event will of course be the showcase of tropical fruits of Rayong as well as top agricultural and local products indigenous to the province.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste and buy fresh fruits right from the orchards. At the event, fruit-farmers will be setting up booths selling a variety of fresh fruits, including durian, rambutan, mangosteen, southern langsat, and the likes at reasonable prices.
For those who want to experience fruit harvesting and tasting fresh fruits right from the trees, they can take any of the open-sided trams available at most the orchards along the Yaida Road. The tram ride is available free of charge throughout the seven-day event, from 09.30 – 16.00 Hrs.
During the event, there will be several competitions, including the contests for best fruits – durian, rambutan, mangosteen, pineapple, and young coconut; best fruit basket arrangement; and best somtam making and dancing performance.
In addition, there will be an exhibition zone displaying top products from all corners of Rayong and an entertainment zone featuring concerts by leading Thai artists.
